Location was great. The cleanliness of my room- not so much. I arrived to grease splatters on the side of the refrigerator. The top was covered in grease and dust as well. I had to scrub stuck on food from a pot and broiler pan before I could use them because they had not been washed. There were dirty clothes in the top of the closet left behind by the previous guest, I assume. I notified the front desk when we first checked in and received a promise that someone would come up and take care of things right away. They never came. The next day, I alerted the front desk again with the promise that someone would take care of it. Again, they never came. I gave it one last try. This time I was assured that the Manager had been notified and promised to take care of this matter right away. Need I say how this ended? Upon checkout, I let them know that I was not happy about the inaction to address my complaints. Response: The manager was aware and promised to take care of this matter right away. I apologize. Residence Inn is my go-to when I travel because of the size of the rooms and it usually doesn’t disappoint. If there is an issue, it is always resolved. I do not know what happened t

Hi Ellen, My stay at the Residence Inn was okay, but I don't feel the experience justified the price. I was charged over $260 for one night, which felt excessive given the quality of the amenities and service. My biggest concern was how the hotel handled my support animal. When I checked in on 7/4, I informed the front desk associate that I had a support dog for my disability and explained that there was no option to indicate this during booking. I also offered to provide documentation if needed, and he told me everything was fine. Later, he happened to come outside and see me with my dog. Although accurate, he made the assumption that my dog was an ESA instead of a service dog and later added the $100 pet fee to my bill without mentioning it. He did not take any time or consideration to explain the hotel's ESA policy or even ask me for clarification regarding the type of support my dog provided. I only learned about the charge the following morning after speaking with another front desk associate, Greg. While I understand North Carolina law does not require hotels to waive pet fees for ESAs, I would have appreciated the policy being explained before the charge was applied. The l

On July 4, 2026 my A/C went out so I decided to get a hotel with my dog. I called this hotel and they had a king suite available so I took it. The price was a bit high, but the suite was nice! The bedroom was spacious and had everything I needed. I liked that the bedroom door closed so I didn’t hear a lot of hall noise. I left my house pretty quick as it was 82 in my house, forgetting a brush, toothbrush and toothpaste and the kind guy at the front desk offered me both. I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are decent, they are clean. Not very dated and spacious. Now for the issues and believe me there are several... Housekeeping is absolutely atrocious, they will not change your sheets unless you request it. They don't do a very good job cleaning. There are still spots on my floor it looks like they just come in, refresh and then leave. The staff during the morning and the evening are fine but overnight. They have a lady that looks homeless. Walking around in slippers and a blanket wrapped around her. I genuinely thought they were being polite to a homeless person on a cold evening. Turns out she works there, and also does a ton of laundry for whatever reason. There are signs up at the desk and on the doors stating apologies restroom and has a number on it, these are up all night while the lady sits around. And breakfast sucks, the old lady in the morning is rude to no end and it is the exact same thing everyday powdered eggs and turkey sausage. The cereal with stale and the oatmeal was sticky and nasty. While the rooms are nice and the majority of the staff is polite, the fact that you have someone who looks homeless and representing your hotel during the evening and
